On the Blob

When my sisters and I are on our periods we've always referred to it as being on the blob and describing how "blobby" we feel.

"Blobby" is a feeling a lot of menstruators can relate to, even though we never look as bad as we feel. In fact we're often glowing on our periods!

The title and the work attempt to demonstrate this contrast between blobbiness and period power. With this work, I want to start reframing my own attitude towards my time of the month.
